Community Nature Collective is bringing Back to the Woods: A Community Nature Gathering Sponsored by Saging Space to the Pittsburgh area, and we want YOU to be there! May 17th from 11:00am-4:00pm at Deer Lakes Park located at 1090 Baileys Run Road, Tarentum, Pa, 15084. This is a nature and wellness themed event with workshops and interactive experiences.

Back to the Woods: A Community Nature Gathering is an outdoor event - rain or shine. Workshops will be held outside in nature, on trails, and under pavilions.

What to Expect?
Want to be a Workshop Host?
We are seeking aligned facilitators, educators, and practitioners who would like to offer a workshop or demo as part of this gathering. Workshops may focus on:

Land-based skills

Gardening and soil care

Seed saving and starting

Nature, animal, plant education

Stewardship practices
-
Herbal knowledge

Yoga, breathwork, or sound

Guided hikes or forest bathing

Community care and connection
Sessions may be offered freely, by donation, or with a clearly listed materials fee. If you are interested in contributing, please fill out the facilitator interest form. If your non-profit or organization would like to attend, please use the same interest form. Thank you!
About Community Nature Collective
Community Nature Collective is a local initiative devoted to environmental stewardship, nature education, and fostering deeper connection between people and the land. Through gatherings, workshops, trail stewardship, and community action, CNC aims to cultivate a culture of care for the natural spaces we share.
